Pixels to Inches Calculator
Choose a print width and height in inches. The tool tells you how many pixels you need for the target PPI.
Common print sizes
At 300 PPI, a 4×6 print requires 1200×1800 pixels, a 5×7 print needs 1500×2100 pixels and an 8×10 print needs 2400×3000 pixels. Rotate width and height for landscape orientation.
What is PPI vs DPI?
PPI describes image pixel density at print size. DPI traditionally describes physical printer dots. They are often used interchangeably in photo print guidance, but they are not technically identical.
